When The Thousand Voices Exotic Weapon was first put into Destiny 2, it had a bug with it's audio that made it sound "unpleasantly" loud. The developers of Destiny 2 did eventually fix this bug and you can now use the gun without sustaining hearing damage. This video compares the fixed audio and the original bugged audio of the gun.

The audio track of this video has been edited to avoid any form of hearing damage to the listener, however I still must recommend that you keep your volume setting adjusted to be lower than you normal have them at.
