Conversion of degrees and radians to radians and degrees
Radians and degrees are two units used for measuring angles. Both of these units are sexagesimal, meaning that they are based on the number 60. One degree is equal to 60 minutes, and one minute is equal to 60 seconds.
Radians are a more natural unit of measurement for angles, and they are used more often in mathematical and scientific calculations. However, degrees are still widely used in everyday life. For example, when we talk about the temperature outside, we usually say “it’s degrees Celsius.”
To convert from radians to degrees, we can use the following formula:
radians * (180/π) = degrees
