Copilot Mode: Microsoft Tests Letting AI Do Things for You in Edge
Microsoft began testing "Copilot Mode" in its Edge browser this Monday (28). When activated, the big tech company's artificial intelligence (AI) searches open tabs and performs tasks. Additionally, conversations with Copilot appear on the new tab page.
When the user allows Copilot to "see" open tabs, the AI can, for example, compare hotels and summarize the best purchasing options among products. Another example of a task the AI can perform: making restaurant reservations. All of this, according to a statement published by Microsoft.
