Shout out to the #OfficialBuddy Xavier Green @equis_times3 for suggesting this cool little musical game.
Watch as I play Sound Shapes a nifty musically inspired creative game, free this month on the Playstation Network for Playstation Plus members. Sound Shapes was made by Queasy Games and was originally made for Playstation 3 and PS Vita.
From what I understand about it so far, you are a little egg cloud traveling from one Turntable (cough cough not Turnstyle) to another bringing the joy of music alive and to all of those who live and breathe around you. You do this by alighting the natural musical beat that lives within the hearts of all of the plants and animals around you.
When you travel you want to collect as many musical coins as you can to really add to the musical experience. The more that you collect the more musical notes and percussion sequences you can unleash. You travel past adorable beat boxing toads in dangerous lilly pads and bouncy frogs that totally Megan Trainor it up by laying down that bass. (No Treble) Along with a myriad of other animals and plant life who are either on your side and try to help you proceed, or they are dangerous music haters and they kill you to try to keep you down. You survive by not touching anything that is the color red because it will instantly kill you. Which is misleading since they say that it only "hurts" you. With true fashion, as the levels progress it becomes increasingly more difficult to maneuver through and collect musical coins, on top of avoiding flying, shooting, and moving red danger. I can definitely see a rage in our future lol.
All in all it was still an enjoyable experience and I definitely would like to play more. There is also a creator mode so it would be really cool to make a level then play it. Let me know if you would like to see that on the channel.
