After the delay of Assassin's Creed Shadows speculation ran rampant of Ubisoft being in real trouble. Its stock price plummeted and the company's board stated it would put Ubisoft under a full review. One of Ubisoft's part owners is the largest publisher in all of gaming, Tencent, and although they only own less than 10 percent of the company, it is possible they could try to go after a buyout, along with the Guillemot family, to make it Private once again.
