Have you ever experienced the frustration of unloading a full magazine into an enemy's head in CS2, only for them to turn around and instantly headshot you? There's a serious hitbox problem at play here, and it's causing a lot of headache for players. In this video, we're diving deep into the major CS2 hitbox issues that demand immediate attention from Valve.

Players like Joleksu (as shown in this video) have presented undeniable evidence of this hitbox problem. Watch as he fires directly at an enemy's head while they're crouched on Nuke, yet the shots fail to register as headshots, despite visually appearing to hit the mark. This discrepancy arises from a misalignment between the hitbox and the player model's head when crouching.

But it doesn't stop there. Even when enemies are standing and looking down, the head hitbox can be significantly off target. The worst misalignment seems to occur when looking down with your knife or bomb out, resulting in shots that should hit their mark missing entirely.

Additionally, hand and leg hitboxes have been reported as inaccurate. Shots that appear to connect with these areas don't register damage as they should. Movement further compounds the issue, making it a real challenge to hit a strafing enemy.

For top-tier pro players who rely on pinpoint accuracy, these misaligned hitboxes can lead to some seriously questionable kills and deaths, especially in the competitive arena at IEM Sydney. It's reminiscent of a similar hitbox problem that plagued CSGO in 2015, which Valve promptly rectified after the community outcry. We're calling for that same swift response for CS2.

The CS2 hitbox problem is not just frustrating, it's game-breaking. Shots should register based on the enemy model's location, but currently, that's not the case. Let's hope Valve addresses this issue promptly, before the pro CS2 scene feels the impact at IEM Sydney. Have you encountered this hitbox problem in your games?
