I spotted a McDonald’s Happy Meal Bugs Life toy at my local Flea Market in a pile of junk jewelry for $1. Looked like a fun little Fallout Craft project to share with tou guys! The options were endless with this but I went with Sunset Sarsaparilla for something a little different. Initially I wanted to do Bottle and Cappy design. Read on for how I did it..
I used nail polish remover to get the "POP" decal off. I then sanded off the back Bugs Life and McDonalds logo. Designed and printed some stickers which I printed on vinyl sticker apart on my regular inkjet printer. I just was to spray paint which I'm not gonna lie was kind of annoying because I thought hanging it would make it easier but in hind sight I would lay it flat paint one side then flip it. It was too wobbly suspended in air LOL. I would have liked to paint it in a shimmering red/orange paint but my local store didnt have any. I may repaint this at some point honestly. What do you think?
(Also before anyone gets mad, these were mass produced for McDonald’s, I likely saved it from the trash and made it into something fun. These keychain can be found for less then $5 and don’t have much value)
