But this might be a good early strategy to get hard-to-find items like saltpeter, feces, and certain ingots.
You also have a chance to get bananas and banana peels. I don't believe the banana peels have any use in the game but they do have a funny description and a nice little reference to Mario Kart.
You can take generated food and put it into your seed extractor to get normal seeds. But trying to wash away the generated enchantment is not possible.
