Runner's notes: Well, that was a long ride... badges has been my favorite map since 2013 and I've been running it for real since 2014. I never thought I would be able to pull off such a smooth run on scroll, back then I had a 2h49m pb, after a year I got my first sub 1 hour (59:42), then in 2017 I managed to get my time down to 22:42. I stopped running badges for a while because I got bored of the map and bhop in general, but then I decided to try it again in 2019 and i got my first sub 20: 19:45. I thought that would the best time I could pull off on this map on scroll... Well after watching my replay a few times I noticed that I made too many stupid mistakes on the run and I could do better, so I spent 2 more weeks tryharding this map almost every single day trying to get at least sub 19 min, and lol... I got almost a sub 18, I was not expecting that at all. Yes I still made some really stupid mistakes but I doubt I'll improve it anytime soon. The start of the run was absolutely insane and I got such a smooth end as well wich saved a lot of time regardless the fails. By the way the skip around 1:50 was super lucky, from the 1000+ tries I managed to get enough speed for it like 10 times in total only (that's a 1% chance).
