Sandy Petersen's Cthulhu Mythos is an RPG game setting using the rules of either 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons, or Pathfinder 1st edition, and allows you to use those game systems to run a Cthulhu game, giving you player options like races, items, rules for magic, new spells, monsters, and new mechanics like Madness and Insanity.

This book gives the players and GM all they need to run a horror filled Cthulhu game with all the bells and whistles, including descriptions of what players may see when they encounter some of the horrific monsters, and creatures in the Cthulhu mythos.

Along side that, Petersen Games has provided us a sampling of the miniatures for use in your game. Showing off the excellent details of their miniature line, including some of the Old One's themselves.

The miniature detail is exquisite, as it is horrifying, and really allows the GM to really capture the essence of the grotesqueness of these creatures. Especially on the Old One's showing their monstosity, and detail with the included basing these large miniatures come with, like Shub-Niggurath standing on a jagged rock, or Cthulhu causing a nearby wave to crash into the miniature.
