In Cube Escape: Case 23, you play as Dale Vandermeer and investigate the scene involving Laura's death. First, you gather some evidence at the crime scene. Then you take it to your office for more investigating. Then, after a fan spins around in circles, you get knocked out and rouse to find yourself in a chapel. Once you meet the crow, you will be taken to a cabin for the final part of the game, where you'll have to be fast or else the opposing power will win and you'll need to start over.

It turns out that in Chapter 2, the man on the other side of the window is Robert Hill: there is a secret in the White Door where one can see Robert's perspective of the situation right outside Dale's office!
