+ Half-Life 2

Cons
- Nothing unique what-so-ever... it is a straight up port...
- The most boring, and arbitrary saferoom placement I have ever seen... ever...
- Map length is earlier to short or too long...
- Nav issues everywhere...
- Several places where you can leave the map and skip parts...
- Force spawned Tanks and Witches
- Unfair and problem portions of level due to differences in game mechanics
- One of the worst balanced finales I have ever seen...
- Unnecessary long and drawn out sections because of those being vehicle sections in their prior game...

Alot of the previous conclusion applies here too...

Not everything translates well to being ported... and this was a perfect example in several scenarios...
Every portion with deep water was a ticking bomb... without the ability to swim in L4D2... sections like this are some of the absolute worst things you can do to a player... and that finale... oh boy...

First off... it was not even clear how we were supposed to start it... so there was a awkward twenty minutes of wandering around a giant flat plain... and the finale itself... is the pinnalce of what NO to do with a gauntlet finale... Way to long, way to much funneling, way to much water on a already long path... but hey... HL2! It's HL2 GUYS! I mean... who am I to judge HL2 in a negatvie view...

This is why I refuse to actually rate it... I am already under the beehive... I'm not about to whack it too...

Same thing applies here... if want to play HL2 in L4D2... be my guest... and have at it...
