UPDATE: Coach #3787 is now retired as of early-Spring of 2014.

Here is something I discovered new.

This NovaBus RTS 82VN is NOT like the other RTS 82VN fleet. Because this bus has a different transmission; it has the Allison VR-731 ATEC automatic instead of the ZF ECOMAT 2HP-592C.

Engine: Detroit Diesel Series 50 EGR
Transmission: Allison VR731 ATEC automatic

Please be advised that this is the ONLY RTS #3787 82VN bus model to ever recieve the V transmission instead of the ZF transmission.
