Dakota Johnson talks to us about everything going on with Madame Web, from the stunts, to the CGI, to the behind the scenes gossip, and those memes. Move over Spider-Man, there's a new hero in town!

Dakota Johnson stars in the first female-led Spider-Man spin-off in a tale that follows the origin story of a clairvoyant whose psychic abilities allow her to see into the future. Directed by S. J. Clarkson (who previously directed Jessica Jones) the film sees Madame Web trying to run from her abilities, her past, and a spider-themed assailant, she ends up helping three women who appear to have spider futures of their own.

Dakota's previous movies include Cha Cha Real Smooth, The Lost Daughter, Daddio, The High Note, Our Friend, Peanut Butter Falcon, Fifty Shades Darker. How To Be Single, Fifty Shades Freed, Fifty Shades of Grey,Chlow and Theo, Black Mass, Date and Swith,For Ellen, 21 Jump Street and more...

She is the child of two famous actors, Don Johnson (father) &
Melanie Griffith (mother) are her parents, and we're sure they're proud of her for keeping acting in the family.

The character of Madame Web (Cassandra Webb) first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man comic issue number 210, published November 1980. In the Spider-Man comics, Madame Web was introduced as a blind and paralysed elderly woman with telepathic abilities. She spends most of her time hooked up to a web-like life support system, guiding other heroes with her psychic powers. But this movie version weaves it’s own take on the character and is more of an origin story than what fans have seen in the comics.

Madame Web is the 4th film released in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, following 2018’s Venom, 2021’s ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ & 2022’s Morbius. The 5th film in the series, ‘Kraven the Hunter’ is out later this year.

The film features three different women from the Spider-Man comics who have all taken up the mantle of Spider-Woman. This has fans speculating what spider-related fate might be in store for Julia Cornwall (Sydney Sweeney), Mattie Franklin (Celeste O’Connor), and Anya Corazon (Isabela Merced).
