Dan The Man: Classic Hard Mode Walkthrough Part 19 (Final Boss + Ending)
1Dan The Man (grammatically spelt correctly as Dan the Man), also known as Dan the Man: Action Platformer, or abbreviated as DTM in short, is a game based off of the popular YouTube web series created by StudioJoho, and follows a little 16-bit character called Dan.
There are seven episodes, or "Stages." The series is written and directed by Joe Brumm. The music is composed by Dan Brumm. The game itself picks up where Stage 7 left off. On February 4, 2017, an episode mostly similar to the game's plot was released.
Dan (or any character selected), his fellow red-suited rebels, and two odd Geezers attempt to speak up for the Villagers and overthrow the "evil" King who is making them run on a treadmill to power the street lights. The player completes various levels, defeating five bosses, slowly invading the castle and eventually overthrowing the King. Dan, wants to save Josie.
Dan and the team battles many guards throughout the adventure. After running through the Countryside with the Resistance, Dan battles the Gatekeeper and proceeds through the castle with them. During their venture however, Dan and the Geezers start to notice the Resistance's true nature and what they were really here for, after witnessing their actions (such as killing innocent bankers and robbing stores). After defeating Roboriot, the Resistance get info from a line of guards who were being held at gunpoint. Despite this, they are killed anyways by the Resistance. The Geezers and Dan, realizing they are no help, go find Josie and the Villagers themselves.
In the sewers, the trio discover bombs later on in another room that were planted by the Resistance. Josie manages to knock out the guard by the lever and saves the Villagers. However, the Geezers chose the worst place possible for their entrance, and accidentally kill the Villagers. Josie gets angry at them however, but Dan arrives, making Josie get frightened and run away due to previous events and her trauma, thinking that Dan had come for revenge. Before Dan could proceed, he battles the Dark Master who is eventually stopped by the Light Master.
Finally, in the last area of the game, they are inside the castle climbing up. Dan and the Geezers climb upward the castle during sunset. The King, who had been hiding for the remainder of the events, hides in the bathroom with a few remaining Bankers, much to their dismay. The guards outside defending are killed along with a few Resistance members, and so were the remaining Bankers and the King. The King Resistance decides to become leader, and kills the Hat Geezer due to his objection. Angry and sad at this, the Bald Geezer grabs a rifle and decides to avenge his best friend's death. By the time Dan arrived to the top, it was already night. Josie and the rest of the remaining characters were on the roof battling, with the Advisor hiding behind a Bruiser. The Advisor holds the Bald Geezer by gunpoint as Josie screams at him with a pistol. However, they were shot down by the King Resistance, who pulled out a giant robot to face Dan head-on. After being defeated, the King Resistance pulls out a C4 remote activating the bombs from earlier, and takes Dan with him.
Due to this, Dan loses a life, and is spawned at the beginning of the game to where he last left off. After the Villager asks for peace, Dan thinks for a moment and decides to side with the Villagers this time. He does this by punching a few Resistance members, and scares them off. The Villagers then cheer after that, and Stage 9 occurs after that.
