The Gutting Kriss and Lightning Daggers both have the same base damage. The Krisses are slightly faster, however the Lightning Daggers do four extra points of damage against Orcs, Goblins and Cyclopses. Note that your chance for an adrenaline kill will often be lost when using the Lightning Daggers.

Dark Messiah is a semi-progressive 2006 PC game with flashy gameplay and great graphics, but was marred by some repetition, a derivative story line and a limited skill tree.
Though the biggest mistake the game designers made was the placing of traps virtually everywhere enemies are found.
The game features fast paced melee combat, an outstanding musical score and great voice acting and is well worth playing.
I wondered if it would be possible to actually play the game on Hardcore without receiving any damage from enemies, without relying on the many traps.
