After many years I return to this hidden gem of a game called Darkfall. The official servers were shut down in 2012. Now there are two new fan made reboots called "Rise of Agon" and "New Dawn."

I did some research between the two versions and I decided to go with the Rise of Agon version. So far from what I've seen it seems very true to the original game. The graphics aren't the best in the world, but this game has one of the best full PvP looting systems. Absolutely everything you have on you can be taken by other players once you die.

An interesting fantasy world with Epic guild wars for castle keeps and a healthy roster of roaming monsters to hunt, I highly recommend everyone give Darkfall: Rise of Agon a try. It's a very unique game.
