DaVinci Resolve - Great Coloring, Frustrating NLE (Impressions Q4 2018)
266BlackMagic Design's DaVinci Resolve video editing suite has caused a lot of discussion in the video editing scene for providing a free* video editor with Hollywood-level color grading tools, and a super fast decode engine to make timeline performance the best we've ever seen.
But below the first couple layers of hot newness, we see the remnants of very old NLE workflows that I'm honestly just not a fan of in 2018.
