alright my thoughts when I first played it till I looked it up and what it's about I thought it was an asset grab someone bought a bunch of stuff and put it together to resell the reason I thought that it was the guy how the character was designed but when I looked into the game I guess there were planning to make a Resident Evil 2 remake and this is from the game but they got cancelled and they decided to make their own game.
I got stuck at a certain part I will go back to it later on try to get past it
For all of those who didn't know:
This game has been made by the indie team we own Resident Evil 2 Remake from Capcom.
They used to developp a Unreal Engine remaster of RE2 back in the days, but Capcom stopped them when they were in a very advance stage of the dev.
They asked them to stop their work as they were planning to remake RE2 (before public announcement)
In return they helped them (some member of the team) by teaching them some stuff about Game Dev.
So they made their own horror game.
This is what Daymare 1998 is.
It's not perfect, but for an indie team, it's quite good, full of references from 90's.
It deserve some praise imo, I hope they'll keep up their work and perfect their skills.
