In this video I travel to the northern edge of the map (Petrovka, Misty Peak and beyond the end of the road north of Grozovoy Pass), in search of hidden vehicles and gear. I know the far away out-of-boundaries stuff has been deleted, but I think the borders are still good places to visit.

NOTE: after close to 1 hour of search, I came up empty, and re-entered the official playable area at Poveda Dam.
