DC Comics Rant! - Overpriced Comics with Weak Stories are Pushing Me Away From Characters I Love
Well this was a long time coming. It is absolutely insane that DC is making customers pay $8, $6, $5, and the standard $4 for lazy, uninspired anthology books. Clearly they must know that people are leaving, and to offset the numbers they are increasing their prices. In this video, I go through Batman: Urban Legends #2 (which has a great Red Hood story, but is it really worth $8 for the other crap?), Joker #2 (again, I am enjoying the Joker/Commissioner Gordon story, but could care less for Punchline, and the cringe lingo they used in that story), Superman #30 (okay, but not worth $5), and Batman: The Detective #1 (Andy Kubert's art is great, but the story sucks. Only $4). I am looking to expand my horizons into more books away from the Big 2 with Image, Boom, and manga (I am waiting on some that I ordered to arrive in the mail, and plan to do a video showing what I got, so be on the lookout for that!). Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for watching, let me know your thoughts in the comments down below, and have a great day!
