So, this is the first Nonstop course in this series. Unlike an Oni course, it uses the regular health bar rather than LIFE4. Because of this, misses are much more lenient and Goods are pretty inconsequential other than dropping your combo. Also, you'd normally be able to set your options, but Ultimate 12 is one of the only courses in this game where options are disabled. There are no Oni courses in this game, and this is the closest that it gets to being one. Additionally, there are difficulty options for most of the courses, and I'm playing on the Hard difficulty.

This course is very, VERY technical. Nearly all of the songs have tricky rhythms or intricate patterns. Vanity Angel, Kakumei, I Feel, and Xenon are very tricky to nail. To top if off, Kakumei and Maxx Unlimited are forced to be played on Reverse and Dark. Oh yeah, Maxx Unlimited is back, and worse than ever. Reverse isn't too bad, but Dark really screws stuff up, especially on Kakumei. It didn't take me hundreds of attempts to beat Maxx Unlimited this time, but it's still brutal.

I'll be honest, this course is not fun to grind. Unlike an Oni course where I won't always make it, I'm nearly guaranteed to complete this course. I tried so hard to get a AA on this course, but I keep getting too many misses. I've actually gotten a better score since this run, but I got more misses. This is the least amount of misses I've ever gotten on this course. Technical charts tend to give me loads of Greats, too, so it's harder to improve rather than with straight forward or stream-centered charts.
