Download this file: http://www.wsgf.org/f/u/dead_island_menu_and_hud_fix.rar
Unzip this file
Should be left with a file called Data
Now navigate to the following folder in another window
C:\Users\username\Documents\DeadIsland\out\data\menu\hud
Drag the Data folder you unzipped from your download and place it in here, replacing the current file if prompted
All done!
FOV Mod:
Navigate to
Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dead Island\DI\Data\Skills
Find file called default_levels.xml
Open this in notepad
Look for CameraDefaultFOV and change the value in there to whatever you want between 70 and 90, the default already there is 62.5
Save the file and close it
