This is kind of an exaggeration but there really should be some kind of quality test a game needs to pass before it can unload extremely expensive DLC into the store. Dauntless is free to play so it is not on the same playing field as something like Fallout 76, but it is still very frustrating. I'd hate to see my son (with my permission) get super excited about a game, buy a DLC before playing in order to improve his experience, and lose out on all the money simply because the game doesn't function.
