Shina Ninomiya was locked inside the game World’s Odyssey. She lost her memory. She will have to beat the game to return to the real world.
She receives help from programmer Arata Mizunashi from the real world and the game characters - war girls.
A great game for fans of the JRPG and isekai adventure.
When the JRPG gameplay begins, then maximum of three girls can participate in turn based battles.
During their turn, they can move freely around the battlefield to get into a better position to attack.
Girls can perform three actions (use standard attack, defense, and skills/magic).
After hitting the last attack the character smashes the enemy with a knockback sending them crashing to a wall for extra damage.
Arata can help the team by hacking the game giving Shina and friends special abilities/temporary enhancements/special attacks for one turn or summoning some previously defeated bosses.
If the percentage near the character reaches 80% or more they transform into their Glitch Forms for a turn, enhancing their attacks and gaining access to a super move.
When the game's plot moves into the real world (Offline), you play as Arata. Here the gameplay is reminiscent of a visual novel.
Things from the real world open up previously sealed paths to progress in the dungeon/find treasures sealed behind infected barriers.
