Pressing the Esc key in the top left, the escape key brings up the menu. There are only 2 other keyboard shortcut keys in Defcon.

1.) Press the Shift key to select all the units in a naval group to do the same thing like launch nukes, prepare bombers, activate sonar, etc... Only works for ships within a single grouping as in if you select the group to go somewhere on the map only those ships can all be activated to do some action using the Shift key. There is no global option for every sub to do something only subs within a group.

2.) The Space bar is used to unselect or deselect whatever you are currently doing. Such as sending fighter planes from the hanger and you only want to send 3 of them press Space bar to deselect after the third. Same for selecting where to target your nuke strikes at only want to send a few or have other things to do and need to abort targeting to deal with some other event on the map press Space bar.


There are no other short cut keys as far as I know.
