Defeating PULSAR! - The Desolate Hope: No Commentary Playthrough (Episode 5)
Welcome to my official no commentary playthrough of The Desolate Hope! This game is one of my favorites, and for good reason! It's FREE on the Steam store, fun to play, has nice graphics, has an awesome soundtrack, and is made by the legendary Scott Cawthon, creator of Five Nights at Freddy's (before FNAF's debut). The Desolate Hope was released in 2012, and released on Steam in 2014. The game features Metroidvania-style progression, along with active battle sequences against viruses within simulations. You play as Coffee, an autonomous service robot controlled by a digital counterpart in order to investigate and eradicate viruses that have taken over 5 robots known as Derelicts that reside on a planet in a space station known as Lun Infinus. Please read more about this game on the official Steam page (linked below) and, please give this game some love by trying it! It is really well made, and super fun, and I totally recommend it.
This episode, we reach the end goal of our journey: defeating the anti-virus known as PULSAR. He is the real bad guy, and shutting him off will cause the Derelicts to finally be able to sleep. We not only defeat PULSAR, but allow for Coffee to save the embryo that was given to him, known as Sample 217. We did it, we reached the end! Hope you guys enjoyed my playthrough, and stay tuned for 2 more episodes on this wonderful game, one bonus in-game episode, and one review!
