We love going back in time with PC gaming too and this is no different, thanks to amazon Prime gaming making the old titles free albeit a bit randomly but this had to be played.
I first played this game on a Pentium 2 with a basic Geforce graphics card sat in my spare bedroom of my first house I think 2002 with a Sidewinder Joystick which was so far ahead of its time. Unfortunately I dont have that joystick now and am playing with an XBOX Elite joypad. A quick learning curve is if you accelerate for too long then the view changes and detaches from the ship but you can cycle through viewports with the menu button to get back and then it locks to that view.
The graphics were good for the time which was when DOOM 2 was all the rage.
The controls are far from refined but who cares when it is so much fun.
