Defender on Atari 2600 (Rob's Retro Rambles)
Playing Defender on the Atari 2600 for the very first time.
In the time between me filming this and publishing it, Jason Arnopp has played both the first Defender and the imaginatively-titled sequel, Defender 2 on the Atari 2600 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpcBgTbz0Is
Turns out you can do smart bombs AND warp your ship, you just need to know HOW. Well, I do now so I'll have to remember how to do that the next time I give it a go. Cheers Jason!
(The observant amongst you may have noticed I've started trying to use popup cards and endscreen links and the like lately, which I've tended to avoid up til now as they never show up on my phone or on my TV so they felt a waste of effort. While editing they seem to show up for me, but not when I watch the actual video. Do please let me know if they show up for you (and that you've been able to see Jason's video that I linked to a few times during this))

Some people have said I should set up a tip jar, to help with cost of repairs and the like. As I can't really offer anything other than thanks I don't feel Patreon is particularly suitable, so I've set up this - https://ko-fi.com/gigerpunk
Absolutely no obligation, I'm not doing any content just for people who pay and not doing adverts of any kind, it's just there for those who'd like to help out occasionally.
