I made this video because I was convinced prior that essence sap wasn't affected by recovery rate, and thus there was no penalty to taking twin strike on an essence sap build. I was wrong. Recovery is a property that influences both regeneration and essence sap.
Now hopefully this video can correct anyone who thinks otherwise in the future.
To test this out, I started a game with wild meta and no difficulty modifiers. I pressed f7 at the start of the game to turn on debug mode, then pressed 0 to spawn the dummy. For gear, I used Research for obvious reasons, but also Pulse so that I could control how many projectiles hit the dummy, thus preventing variances in damage output which would affect how much essence heal I was getting.
