In order to make a full suit of Silver Armor, you will need to create multiple worlds. I have made 3 worlds so far, and have pretty thoroughly checked the caves on each (especially my main world), and it seems only one cave may have Silver in it per world. In my main world, I think I also only even got maybe a dozen pieces of Silver in the cave.

Once you have depleted a world of Silver, create a new world from the main menu. On spawn, just search the world for your Silver cave (dungeon, whatever). I found that it was all the way east from the starting spawn point, and south of the cave that leads to the Critical Error boss (you can tell its cave very easily because all of the cave moss will be glowing purple outside of your light radius when you enter the cave). To save time, I would suggest beelining for the cave, only stopping to grab things like chests (for perm upgrades) and ore if you need it.

When you enter a cave, a good sign that you are in the right place is that you will find Iron ore on the entrance/first floor. On this floor, your goal is to find the ladder down to the floor below. Go down the ladder once you find it, and you should be on a floor where all the dirt is replaced by stone. Another good sign is if you run into Skeleton Warriors instead of just regular Skeletons. These enemies will have armor and weapons, and are tougher to kill.

Search this lower floor, and eventually you will find your Silver! If you do not find any, look around for another cave, and find the ladder down to the lower floor. Keep repeating this process until you have as much Silver as you want!
