Demonstrating The PSP Go Fullscreen Adaptor
This is an adapter I actually found completely by accident

If you've ever tried to use a PSP as a home console, you notice it's kind of infuriating because it's all letterboxed when you're not dealing with the XMB or PSX classics. If you've looked into options aside from $200 converters, you're likely already familiar with the overpriced and damn-near-nonworking pieces of shit Linkeng routinely shovels out for twice the price of this little gem.
This device, while only compatible with the PSP Go, allows you to kill letterboxing for good and have that good ol' southern style fullscreen TV out gaming. Paired up with a PS3 controller, this actually makes for a very console-like experience.
The major boasts were that, aside from making letterboxed games fullscreen, it'd also enhance the image quality since 480x272 is bound to have some translation issues when you're on a screen that's not 3-4 inches. The performance is a LOT better than I expected from some random device found on an obscure UK store, and, of course, it does the job that Sony failed to do. Converted from GBP to USD, it only costed me $45 shipped.
I'm definitely satisfied. It does enhance the image as to reduce image tearing and pixelation (while keeping the aspect ratio intact), but not quite as much as I'd expect after seeing emulators and such with 4x4 Super Eagle image smoothing.
(The Final Verdict): 8.5/10
Not perfect, but definitely well beyond my expectations. I'd recommend it for anyone who wants to break that barrier between handheld and home console gaming.
