DCC2016 Review

Denver Comic Con 2016 has come to a close. How was it? How did it compare to previous years? In this video I give you my opinions all all that and more.

Unfortunately I didn't get to see Stan Lee, though he did say he will be here next year again. Which is GREAT.

Met Ralph Machio as well as David Mazouz. Both very cool guys, though I have NO photographic evidence to prove such things (I'm not paying 40$ for a photo-op) but trust me it was great.

On day one Chance (my co host for Eclectica Cafe https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBe7XNFjOnAA7VqFv0Nb7mg) and I sat in on a panel about women's representation in comics and how it is changing and where it is coming from. And then proceeded to get yelled at by some feminist types. It was fun. :)

Day two panels were "Religion in Fiction" and "Historical References in Game of Thrones". Both really interesting. Day two also was the "Cosplay Shindig" aka Cosplay Competition. Some really great entrants, but unfortunately was unable to stay till the end so I don't know who won what. Still got some cool pictures though.

Day three was pretty relaxed. Sat in on the Jeffery Dean Morgan panel. He is a freakin COOL guy. Awesome Negan in The Walking Dead. And potentially, however slight it may be, will be a fantastic Thomas Wayne Batman.

All three days, though, had some incredible Cosplay. Which will find its way into at least one video here on the Generally Nerdy Channel.

Also was able to sit down with two really interesting, and different, authors, so stay tuned for those.

P.S.
Sorry for the poor chroma key quality... the result of a bad blue screen experiment.
