I just came across depositphoto's new feature that allows you to upload any image and have the background removed online almost immediately. At this point in time there seems to be no cost involved in using depositphotos’ background removal feature and you can download the resultant picture with the background removed almost immediately thereafter.

You visit the URL for the background removal option on depositphotos and then you can either click the Upload Image button or you can drag and drop your image into a box area. You can upload JPEG or PNG images. The limitation is that the picture that you upload should not exceed 15 megabytes in size.

As you can see, the results are almost instant. Some photos perform better than others at this background removal.

Once the background removal is done, you can download the photos to use in your PowerPoint slides or anywhere else.

What’s great about this feature is that it is free. Plus, you can use any picture. It does not have to be from depositphotos.
