DEPRESSED MAN SQUATS 10/7/21 PR and Fails
05:18 Hack clean PR fail
08:50 127.5 kg PR, fail after
10:10 HOW DO WE GET THE WEIGHT BACK UP
13:12 ENDETZIT
Hit 121.1 kg squat during a group session. We did all 3 lifts in one day so our current powerlifting total is 121.1 kg squat, 69.7 kg bench, 147.5 kg deadlift, for a 338.3 kg total (MUCH WOW). Bench is by far our worst lift (its the Pectus excavatum!). Brother in law did 107.5 squat, 76.5 kg bench, 127.5 kg deadlift, for a 311.5 kg total.
Were going to add proper snatch/clean practice to ab day (glorified forced rest day). Tried to hip thrust here for fun, it went poorly, lets call it progression in the future. On the hack clean fail we need to be able to catch it on our back, so cant go full power. Thought we could sneak under the bar but it turned into a steinborn!
Still high bar when we think its low, but helping to not bend over on top sets. Wrists getting taxed, lowerish bar worse for calf raises.
Magical socks are for the grip tape on the bar for camera mount - On heavy squats it shreds your clothes/skin. We want to mount the cam for squats but not sure how yet (so you can be along for the ride!). Bar will just spin i think.
