In this "Dev Dive" video we take a look at Raven Software, a company founded in 1990 who has contributed significantly to the FPS genre over their 33 years of operation. Historically they worked directly with id Software to create the now classic games Heretic and Hexen. Today they are known as a Call of Duty developer, but as a "support studio" for the other development teams. Due to their historical contributions to the genre, we owe Raven a ton and I wanted to shine some light on their accomplishments in this video.
