Did You Know: An Operative CAN Make Dash And Shoot Actions With A HEAVY Weapon? Kill Team Rules

I was reading through the rules again after playing some games yesterday against Heavy Intercessors, and it didn't seem cool that a Kill Team with all Heavy weapons couldn't move and shoot.

Turns out the Heavy special rule leaves out DASH. I re-read the rules a bunch of times, checked some Reddits, and asked our club members what they thought, and we all agree that operatives with Heavy special rule CAN Dash and Shoot in the same activation.

Here's my reasoning behind it:

Fall Back, Charge, and Dash actions say “Move the active operative following the same rules as a normal move …” but that doesn’t mean they are making a Normal Move. They are performing a different and specific action.

The Heavy Special Rule says no Charge, Fall Back or Normal move but leaves out the Dash action. If it doesn't say 'an Operative cannot perform a [Dash] action' then it CAN perform a Dash action.

Great news if you play Heavy weapons in your Kill Teams and were feeling restricted with options; especially in the new Gallowdark killzone.
