Marlon Brando posthumously reprises his role of Jor-El. There are multiple photos of Glenn Ford around the Kent farm, and the most obvious one is on the piano during the reunion scene. After Clark shows Lois Lane why he thinks Earth needs a savior, he returns her to the roof of the Daily Planet, and the original film’s “Can You Read My Mind can be heard, which was used for Superman and Lois’ first flight.
