there's a clever reference that blends seamlessly into the storyline. In a particular scene where Kuzco and Pacha are rifling through an assortment of potions, Pacha amusingly utters the words "Lions, tigers, bears," and this jest gains an added layer when they realize that the potion designed for humans is nowhere to be found. Yzma then chimes in with an "oh my," forming a clever nod to a line from the iconic film "The Wizard of Oz" (1939). Interestingly, the inclusion of this reference wasn't necessarily a choice driven by the filmmakers' preference. According to producer Randy Fullmer and director Mark Dindal, this particular joke, which they weren't particularly fond of, was mandated by the then-head of Feature Animation, Thomas Schumacher
