SPOILER ALERT!

ARATA!!!

Ah, Eater Adam, the hardest boss so far! Like all other Eaters, he has an attack called Tyrant Cluster that also heals his HP by 20% of the total damage he dealt to your party. And yes, this attack also ignored defense and deals piercing damage and attacks all Digimon you currently control. But before he uses Tyrant Cluster, he will always cast Power Lust on himself and raise his Attack.

Once he lost half of his HP, he replaces Power Lust with Power Impulse, which will also double the damage of Tyrant Cluster, meaning that no Digimon will survive it. And if his HP are even lower, he will cast Power Runaway that also gives him Magic Counter. It is worth noting that all Power spells also harm him.

He also uses two other attacks, but none of them are that dangerous.

Basic strategy? Mastemon, a Digimon with a piercing attack with solid HP, SPD and ATK as well as Digimon with high Speed and HP that knows some buff and debuff spells, the most important being Speed Change Field.
I chose Wargreymon and MirageGaogamon.

Equip Mastemon and your buffer with Speed Equipment and optionally increase their Speed in the Digifarm. Piercer is up to you. My Wargreymon had both Speed and Attack B equipment and most of his used bonus stats are allocated to attack.

Mastemon's Chaos Degradation always deals a fixed amount of damage, being 25% of the enemies current HP. So this Digimon will be your main damage dealer for early and mid game. The buffer uses Speed Charge Field, Attack/Mental Charge Field or healing items. The Piercer should mainly use Acceleration Boost and his piercing attack, but can also buff at the beginning to speed things up. Occasionally, you can also try to debuff Eater Adam by reducing his speed or attack, but this is entirely optional. On my first try before recording, I also managed to beat him without debuffs.

Once Eater Adam uses Power Impulse or Power Runaway, switch your current party out. Unless you debuffed his ATK to a miniscule amount, he will most likely deal 3000 points of damage across the board, thus killing your entire party of 3. Don't worry, the buffs will remain even when you switch your party, so feel free to use some scapegoats for the incoming Tyrant Cluster.

And that's my strategy. Obviously, you should finish him off as quickly as possible unless you really want to debuff his ATK to the point where even a buffed Tyrant Cluster becomes harmless.
