2I made a way to lift my Kayak up to the rafters in my carport so I could drive under it to put it on my roof. I realize here is an easier way for just a little more money, but DIY is fun so I like a challenge. If you want an easier way get a hoist from Harbor freight. They sell them for around $7 each and two would work just fine. I'll probably pick up a couple just to make it easier later on.
