Want to Join the Tournament? Here are the Rules!
I am going to be hosting another worlds greatest trainer tournament on Pokemon Battle Revolution just like I did on Pokemon Stadium 2 but this time it will be subscriber teams and I want you to take part.
In Pokemon Battle Revolution Pokemon up to 4th gen are allowed to take part. Please note that the rotom forms are not available only base rotom aswell as Shaymin Sky is also unavailable. I do have a custom rotom wash but it does not have the water typing as the forms don't exist in Revolution.
To enter the Tournmant!
Entry is simple: Post your team in the comments down below with the moves, items and abilities on your Pokemon that you want aswell as your EV Spread and Nature(And Nicknames if you wish as some are personal to some players and it makes their pokemon unique. However no overly explicit or racist names)
Template Example:
Pokemon: Metagross (Metalman)
Item: Choice Banded
Nature: Adamant
EV's 252atk, 252Speed, 6hp
Moves: Meteor Mash, Ice Punch, Earth Quake, Zen Headbutt
However before you do so please listen to the rest of this video for the rules and who is allowed and who isn't.
In terms of Banned Pokemon they are as follows:
Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-oh, Rayquaza, Groundon, Cresselia, Darkrai, Palkia, Kyogre, Dialga, Giratina and Deoxys are all banned. They are Uber pokemon for a reason as Legendaries like these are simply very powerful and the game can become unbalanced through certain sets these mons can learn which will stump other Pokemon from being able to have fun in the tournament and that is why.
However that does not mean all Legendaries are Banned, some that can be in OU are allowed but there is a rule surrounding this too.
1 Legendary Slot Per Team:
When it comes to the Legendary Birds/Dogs/Regi's etcetera they are allowed with the Limit of 1 per team only for fairness and balance so either 1 bird or 1 dog, Regi etcetera on your team, if you choose one of these pokemon, you cannot then choose another, for example, if you pick Articuno, all other allowed Legendaries are now not allowed on your team for Balance and Fairness so the choice is yours on which one you pick.
Legendaries Permitted: Raikou,Entei,Suicune,Jirachi,Celebi, Regirock,Regice,Registeel,Regigigas,Articuno,Moltres,Zapdos,Latias,Latios,Shaymin (Base Form Only),Uxie,Mesprit,Azelf, Phione,Manaphy,Heatran
No Duplicates:
No duplicate Pokemon are allowed, you have 1 of the pokemon you want and no more.
1 Team Per Subscriber/ Viewer
I Will Only Accept 1 Submitted Team Per Person. So Choose 1 Team Only To Represent You. This is so it's fair and no player has 20 entries into the tournament trying to rig the system and increase the chance they will win.
Battles:
Battles will take place on Pokemon Battle Revolution in a 6v6 format with singles as the battle type, sadly as I don't have the ability to wifi battle, I will do what I did previously in Stadium 2 where I spin the wheel and I will control one of the teams and CPU will control the other.
Items:
Items are allowed but with a limit of 1 unique item per each Pokemon. For example: You can't have leftovers on more than one Pokemon. So choose wisely!
If you do not submit items for your pokemon to hold, I will manually add some myself based on my choice/preference, if it's not the item you want, there's not much I can do if you don't submit your team with the items you want. I sadly can't read your mind if you don't tell me.
Moves:
If you want specific moves on your Pokemon they must be legal moves. Event moves are allowed and legal. Aslong as it was obtainable in 4th gen or a previous generation. I will verify these event moves you have to make sure the moves are legal within Gen 4. Also tell me what moves you want your team to have or I will use the ones I have in my box as a placeholder with their movesets I have in my box. Again if you don't tell me what moves I can't read your mind so make sure you do so or it may have moves you don't want.
