18Nearly 15 years after the release of Donkey Kong Country 3 Nintendo shocked us all at E3 2010 by announcing the long-awaited comeback of DK's platforming adventures in the form of Donkey Kong Country Returns for the Wii. That would eventually be followed up by Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, but otherwise little has been heard from Nintendo's prime ape in recent years.
However, in an unexpected twist of events, and as the whole world begins to change its attention to the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo decided to bring back Donkey Kong once again by turning the clock back 15 years and remastering that 2010 adventure.
