Don't make this gear-purchasing mistake for YouTube - I bought a second Panasonic G7 (RED gear rant)
1,620It seems to be the latest "trend" for bigger YouTube channels to get fancy RED Weapon 8K and similar cameras to make their videos. And then they spend a long time not using them properly because such a rig is far too overkill for their needs. While some groups and such can definitely make use of the specific features and upgrades in a high-end rig, most would be better off putting their money elsewhere.
In celebration of this, I bought a SECOND Panasonic G7. Because it made more sense to get better glass and have a backup camera than buy a new body.
