The Gorge was a 3-person challenge in Don't Starve Together, following the first event, The Forge. The event involved cooking, farming, and gathering ingredients. A beta began on June 12, 2018, and the official event went live on June 14, 2018. The Gorge Tournament was announced on July 6, 2018, offering prizes like exclusive Portrait Frames and Profile Icons. The event ended on July 17, 2018. The survivors were forced to escape through the Molten Gateway and face a ravenous beast in a city. They must cook delicious dishes to appease the Eternal Gnaw and avoid a plague. The game mode requires entering the world through the Mossy Gateway, using available resources to create offerings for the altar.
📻 • Don't Starve Together is the sequel to Don't Starve, offering multiplayer mechanics. Originally scheduled for release in Summer 2014, it was delayed due to limited-access betas. The game was released on Mac and Linux after being finalized on Windows. Don't Starve Together Beta was available on Steam Early Access from December 15, 2014, and was fully released on April 21, 2016. It includes most of the base game and the Reign of Giants DLC, as well as some features from the Shipwrecked and Hamlet DLCs.
