description: "'Contrition' is a strictly-limited vanilla-Doom thing. Comprised of three colourfully nonsensical tiny arena-like techbase-themed maps. All action, no secrets. Very minimalistic lighting fx. Stock textures only. As well as no dehackery. Maps were designed 'n balanced around pistol-start and are indeed intended to be indulged on skill 4. Main goal behind each of 'em is to swiftly grab the required key to exit and ideally do so whilst dealing with demonic obstacles, dubious design choices and scarce resources. Main challenge, however, is to attain 100% kills. Means to achieve such exists but it'll demand extra attention to ammo, awareness of the map's ins and outs and (most importantly) to keep your cool 'bout RNG mishaps while exploiting monster infighting to the best of your ability. Apart from fisting and pistoling; onliest chainsaw shall be up for dibs as your means of mean, mean business. True for two. Not so much on the third. To further assist into achieving calmness and keeping the passions unstirred under these trials; a most delightsome muzak will be at ears to dispel any tension."
