Doom 2 In Name Only Part 1 - Crimson - Soldier of Knothole, Doom Mod Playthrough
13Hey Guys, Lil Johnny Red here with a gameplay video using my Doom mod Crimson - Soldier of Knothole with the Doom 2 In Name Only mapset, Enjoy :D
Going through yet another old mapset I once played using Project Brutality, This was recorded last year and was going show off another feature that would've been present in the initial release of my mod.
I'd shown off the "Sidegrades" before, but I also had a plan for Swapable weapons too. such as finding a weapon that you can use to replace parts of your arsenal usually for a trade of some features. Initially I wanted to add 6 there, nothing too crazy. But this feature liked the Sidegrades was Unfinished upon the first release.. more so than the Sidegrades as the Swapable weapons didn't have sidegrades let alone any ideas of possibly upgrading them if at all.
Also I meant to add the Inventory Item hud element too on Release.. but It will be Present in the new version.
One things for certain, A Certain Hand cannon is coming back.
Plans Before Releasing an Update
- Add more tweaks to the enemy mod "regarding attack speed"
- Finish the Sidegrades for the Swapable Weapons
- Have about 10-11 ready by the time it's released "only 4 are working as of now"
- add an item that can Trade in the Swapable weapon with the base weapon "just in case you get buyers remorse"
- Record new lines for said Swapable weapons.
