Just recently purchased Doom 3 BFG edition. Frankly, initially i wasn't inclined to do so, as this package doesn't offer that many extras. It is a great way to introduce new players to the Doom franchise however.

And for us long time doomers, what's new? Well, for me personally the Lost missions pack was the most atractive extra, since that's about the only thing that is trully new, and that's the main reason i'm uploading it first.

In terms of presentation, effects such as motion blur, antialasing, support for higher resolutions, ability to play at 120 frames per second and overall cleaner textures all make for a fresh return that makes everything look pretty good. I was particulary impressed with out smooth everything is, without lag or slowdons.

Even with the new make over i don't know if it will be worth uploading the original campaign or it's expansion, since i already did that with the originals. It's up to you... let me know if you would like those.

I definitelly won't upload the old Doom and Doom 2 campaigns... i will do that someday using a third party sourceport with the PSX ambient music, which in my opinion surprasses the original by far. No offense to anyone out there, it's just a matter of taste.

Please leave your comments and opinions, and, like i said above, let me know if i should upload the main campaign, or the expansion, or both.
