Let's put the Steam Deck and Asus ROG Ally head-to-head with Doom Eternal. Both were set up to run the game at 720p, 60 frames per second and graphic settings set to High. The Steam deck has a few hiccups at times but overall the game performs really well. The Ally had no hiccups from what I could see and also performed really well. I do notice that the overall image on the Ally has richer colors and truer blacks while the Steam Deck seems to have paler colors and muted blacks. In my opinion, the Ally won this round.
