Door Kickers Action Squad 4K ULTRA Gameplay (Switch)
2Door Kickers: Action Squad is a retro style side scrolling shooter spinoff of Door Kickers. Action squad is a comedic departure from the top down more realistic style of the mainline series. The game puts the player in control of a squad of several different characters or classes. Missions are played in a more linear fashion than the original Door Kickers.
Each mission will allow the player select a class or character and equipment. The main gameplay is a side scrolling shooter with minor platforming elements. Most missions have simple objectives such as arresting a certain character and eliminating all other hostiles. Action Squad can also be played in Co-op mode.
The game also includes a zombie mode which has many zombies chase and melee attack the player.
Door Kickers Action Squad was released to generally positive reviews. Steam has an overall user review of overwhelmingly positive. Action Squad won MomoCon's indie game awards.
